First off, I've never tried online dating before so I'm not sure what exactly I should say about myself, so I'll just dive right in!
I'm extremely laid back and I prefer a homemade dinner and a movie, to a loud nightclub any time. My job takes up a lot of my time, so when I do actually have some free time I'd rather do something low key. However, I love going out and seeing new things... An art museum, a play, a drive to somewhere I've never been, a picnic in the park, wine tasting... All of those sound like a successful date to me!
I'm a gamer. Certainly not a hardcore gamer, but a gamer nonetheless.
I'm an animal lover. (1 dog, 2 cats) ... Kids, not so much. I have a feeling they don't like me either.
I love board games.
And tattoos. And some piercings. I have eight tattoos and a piercing of my own.
No smoking. Don't bother, if you do. It's the worst turn off for me.
And I hate football (However, I do like European Football). I'll never pretend to be enjoying myself while I'm watching it. So, don't count on that.
I'm not a huge drinker, but I do enjoy having the occasional glass of wine after work. I rarely ever get drunk, and I'm looking for someone who shares that in common with me... Or at least someone who doesn't think you need to be drunk to have a good time.
I love sports. I played Softball for 10ish years and even though I don't play anymore I'd like to find someone who'd like to toss the ball around evey now and then.
I'm currently in the process of finishing my Associates degree, as well as holding down a full time job doing exactly what I want to do.
I can be timid and shy. It takes me a little while to warm up to people.
Honestly, I'm better at other aspects of my life than I am at relationships. It's just never come naturally for me, although I love having someone I can show affection and talk to you. I'm looking for someone who can keep me grounded, and let me know when I need chill out and let the little things go. (In a nice way, of course =]) I tend to overthink things and I like to be in control of situations. When I feel like I'm losing that control I can become defensive and distant. I'm looking for someone who can balance me out and not be afraid to talk and work together. Someone to let me know it's okay to let loose every once in a while!
I'm goofy. And a nerd. I love (older) Disney movies, old school Mario is my favorite video game, and I love the Big Bang Theory.
However, I may be a kid at heart, but I'm not immature. I'm looking for someone who can stimulate me intellectually and who I feel is serious about life and respects themself. Some say I'm 22, going on 40!
Main point, I'm an old soul, looking for equally old souls to share some memories with.
